About me

I have been a student of psychology for nearly twenty-five years, both in South Africa and the UK. During the last twenty-five years, I have been actively involved in various forms of spiritual and emotional counselling, personality profiling, therapy, training and motivational speaking. Most of my training and study took place in South Africa where I worked with well respected professionals

Our family moved to the UK in 1997. I qualified as a hypnotherapist through the European College of Hypnotherapy – one of the top hypnotherapy colleges in the UK and am registered with several accrediting agencies (see below). I have diplomas in Hypnosis in Childbirth, Agape Therapy, Pastoral Counselling, EFT, Nutritional Therapy, Regression therapy, including Life-Between-Lives Regression, Nutritional Therapy, Emergency Hypnosis, and am a certified Specialist in OCD and Anxiety disorders.

My interest in people and how they work began when I was 14 and would spend my pocket money buying a Psychology Magazine. I devoured every self-help book I could lay my hands on and it has been my prevailing interest throughout my life. I continue to attend courses and study new methodology and current thought. I also now teach and train other therapists.

I began my studies on nutrition when doctors could not do anything for my baby daughter's eczema except give her more and more steroids. I discovered she had an allergy to certain colourants, and from then on took far more notice of what we ate. I began to study nutrition more seriously and have recently updated my Nutritional Therapy diploma.

I also have a background in business ownership, sales training and management; and enjoy a variety of creative pursuits, including painting watercolours and pottery.

There is nothing I love better than to see somebody moving closer to becoming the unique and incredible person they were created to be. I am continually studying and keep abreast with the latest research, and it would be a pleasure to help you.

On a more personal note -

Our family has had it's share of hard times, illnesses, bereavements and other losses, which have only served to help me to understand what others are going through and how tough life can be at times. If I got through it all and came out the other side smiling, then so can you!

My three children are the delight of my life. They were all home educated to GCSE level before going to college, and then on to higher education.

I am passionate about home education, parenting, philosophy, people, and am never far from a pile of books!
